いずれの紙幣も土産物として、アバルア(首都)の郵便局で購入。
翌日、ある店のつり銭としてこのページの紙幣をもらう。
しかも、ほぼピン札だった。土産用はビニール製ハードカバーのケースに入っている。
その中に図柄の説明書がついている。



The top left hand corner shows a map of Aitutaki together with a trochus shell 
which is farmed to assist the local economy.
The lower left shows three drummers with traditional island costume playing 
both the pate and the drum.

On the bottom left shows a map of Manuae Island 
which was claimed by the people of Aitutaki.
Manuae Atoll (Hervey Island)was firstsighted in 1773 by Captain James Cook.

The center scene is acombined dance group performing the local drum dance.

On the top right corner is the local export banana along with the Kuramoo bird
which is only found on the island of Aitutaki 
and on one of the small islands in French Polynesia.

The bottom right hand corner shows tropical fish
including the Taputapu(Chaetodon−Auriga),
Manini(Acanthurus−Triostegus) and Titiara(Trevally). 




Christianity was first introduced to the island in 1821 .
The centre part of the note shows a scene of the main Cook Islands Christian Church,
Rarotonga,with people just leaving after a church service.
To the left of the church are tropical sea shells together with the local tiare taina.
